I have been slotted for BLC in November. It is my understanding that as of right now BLC is being conducted as a virtual class. Is there anyway to know if my class will be a “virtual” class as well?

If your BLC is for November, I highly doubt you will do the eBLC version. That being said, as time gets nearer, you will certainly know which one you will be doing. I say this because one of my Soldiers was slated for the Resident BLC....and he was notified via email that this particular class was cancelled due to COVID. Then a few days later, he received an email stating that he was auto enrolled in eBLC.

Unless the travel ban is put back in place this fall..which could very well happen with the spikes we are already seeing..your BLC will be resident. You can verify this with your unit training NCO who put in your reservation

No, BLC starts and ends with an APFT. And those can't be done virtually.

hmm, this may be a policy decision based on your station; for fthood they did one virtual blc, and went back to regular

For your sake I hope it is not on line. This is a hands on course. I totally understand having to keep things moving under the current circumstances. However, you will get so much more out of it if you are there learning from each other! I would simply treat as if your ass will be in the seat and prepare appropriately.
Just my personal perspective so take it for what it’s worth.

I'm sure you'll be going to an in-person BLC course due to the COVID-19 restrictions being lifted!! eBLC was for emergency purposes ONLY and will NOT be the norm. I graduated from eBLC and would recommend you enjoy the in-person one!! Have fun and learn new leader skills!!!
