Will Myanmar ever enjoy democracy or will it die under the military dictatorship and China's interference in Burma's politics?

Chinese interference in Burma's politics dates back to before the state's independence, when 43 members of the Communist Party of Burma trekked to China to ask for support in the insurrection that eventually led to a military coup in Burma. Burma has been a military dictatorship since 1962 till 2011, when Burma experimented with democracy. In 2021, the military jailed the democratically elected civilian leadership and has taken back power in the country. Chairman Mao supported the CPB, which is the oldest political party in Myanmar.

Until the people find the courage and will to change things or there is heavy foreign intervention from the West, Myanmar will remain under military dictatorship or remain under Chinese influence. It is one of my primary advocations for the protection of the Second Amendment, an armed citizenry is less likely to be dominated by such a government when it has the will and means to fight back.

That far into the jungle I don’t think they know if they are communist or not. They just eak out an existence. Burma could make Vietnam look puny. The US isn’t willing to put in the effort and neither am I
