Since military benefits are lost on day 61 of a criminal conviction, will we finally see the retired and/or separated insurrectionist veterans lose their retirements, GI/9-11 bills, and VA benefits and stop them leeching off a government they wanted to overturn in the first place?

In addition, will we see their respective services follow precedent and subject those retirees to Court Martials, as they are still bound by UCMJ after retirement?

Not nice nor provisional to call people traitors. We all have sworn at one or another to protect and preserve the right of all Americans. We can disagree and we can have different points of views. Facts are fact and can't be disputed. #s don't lie if a risk assessment doesn't make the cut then the # then Mission is a go. I don't believe Jan 6th make a circle X level so lets just say it was a big bag of nothing. Hope you like what Biden has done so far with fuel and world events. I hope everyone enjoys getting paid let and doing more. Raises are coming and inflation will rise faster than the stock market. Preciouses metals will be the investment soon dollars will crash and so will crypto currency. Hope it all works out for you Bidden supporters. Good you don't have to hear Trump Tweets ya

But they are traitors, you may have to re-examine your own opinions.

Set Rojas, do you know all the details relating to what actually happened. You make a statement about veterans and Retirees, can you prove beyond a reasonable doubt specific individuals are guilty? Also, are you going to hold EVERYONE accountable, which includes police and individuals that opened doors and stepped aside as people entered the building.

The only details I have is what is openly been distributed, and the active investigations and legal proceedings against those military personnel, either active duty, veterans, or retired who have been arrested.

They have been identified, there is clear photographic and video evidence of their actions, and as my original question asked, if they are convicted, after 61 days in prison or jail, will they lose their benefits/retirement?

I am not asking about the civilians, as they will be prosecuted and find guilt/innocent as the process goes, and their actions are just as bad as those of those who swore to defend the constitution, not attack it.

SGT Hector Rojas, AIGA, SHA Roger that, I guess we'll see what happens.

Those incidents are irrelevant to the insurrection. They did not interfere with the function of the Constitutional Government. They are just part of anattempt to cloud the Treason f Jan6th

So having to suspend the Joint Session, and having to barricade the chambers to protect the Members of Congress, Senators and the VPOTUS from those insurrectionists that broke in with nefarious intent is not interference in your eyes huh.

Have a great day!

We'll see. Lots of their enablers are still in the ranks or in places of influence to where things may get thrown out or overlooked, depending on the person.

The interesting thing is the current investigation into whether some current members of Congress were in communication with some of the leaders of the main actors in the insurrection attack (Proud Boys, Three Percenters, Oath Keepers)

We'll see what all, if anything, comes out of that.

To the best of my knowledge, those that are convicted of a 1st degree felony would be.

It all depends.

Losing or receiving reduced benefits all depends on the conviction, length of jail time and several other factors. It’s not a binary thing
