Would a 14E E-6 in the Army be able to get command sponsorship for orders to South Korea?

It depends on where his unit is set up. He can find out with relative ease.

Shows how much time has changed. Command Sponsership was not an option in 87/88 or one I never hear about. But my unit was north of Seoul it and almost all others north of Seoul are closed now.

Depends on if there is a perm Patriot unit in Korea. But he could possibly volunteer in another capacity.

Cant say with certainty, but, most likely yes. Every situation is different. Tell your husband to request and hope for the best.
