He is probably the most intelligent candidate running and he also has good sense and is a quick study. He is the adult in the room.
I think Dr. Carson would be the best chance this country has to come together and heal its wounds since Reagan.

Dr. Ben Carson is a class act. He is not only intelligent, but he's a quick study and adapts quickly. He has made some commercials rebuffing his naysayers and he has a way of giving back that is very clever and witty. But you have to be paying attention to get his humor. It's subtle. On the surface it's very benign but he has a way of calling people out that is disarming while he pokes them in the eye. I watched Carson speak at the National Prayer Breakfast and was ROFL as he proceeded to critique Obama right to his face.
My ONLY concern is that Carson might get steamrolled by the bureaucrats in Washington, and basically sidelined from accomplishing anything effective during his tenure. The corruption he must face is so embedded in our gov't that it will take a bull running into it head on to dislodge it. Donald Trump is a narcissist and a loose cannon, and he is a bull. His biggest handicap is that he is too Blue Collar and doesn't act Presidential... In fact, both Carson and Trump don't act Presidential but for different reasons. Of the two I think Carson may be more adaptable to diplomacy, as Trump is clearly stuck on himself and has a difficult time admitting his errors. That aside, Trump is a truth teller (although his truth may be a little exaggerated) -- and he doesn't mind telling it to people that don't want to hear it. His shrewd negotiation skills are what this country needs and he may be the right person for this time -- even if for just 4 years. The Washington establishment is most afraid of Trump, and that's a good thing. They should be afraid... as they have a LOT to answer for! Trump might be what this country needs to break the hold of those who pull the strings on our Congress.
Actually, I'm still not decided. I could live with ANY of the top 4 GOP candidates being the next President, although I'm still in doubt about Ted Cruz's eligibility.*
The Democrats are great at painting the GOP as the party of old white people. But then when you look, who are they running? Two white people that are 70+ years old... By contrast, in the GOP we have one white, one black, and two hispanics rounding out the top 4, and the field is younger. Go figure!

* Yes, Ted Cruz was an American citizen at birth, but what part of "natural born" don't people understand? Ted Cruz until recently had dual citizenship with Canada. A natural born citizen will not have dual citizenship. To be natural born, BOTH parents need to be U.S. citizens at the time of birth so that there is ABSOLUTELY NO QUESTION about where his loyalties lie.
We have someone in office whose eligibility and loyalty we can't be certain of. It's very unclear if he is loyal to this country... and if you go strictly by his speech and actions, he doesn't like this country as it is and he is trying to transform it into something that doesn't even remotely resemble anything envisioned by our Founding Fathers. I don't think we should follow up a bad precedent by reinforcing it with another questionable selection. Ted Cruz is doing a great job as a U.S. Senator and he can continue serving this country with distinction there.

He could very well be effective SPC Andrew Griffin. He certainly has the right sense of priority.
