That distinction belongs to one of the founders. The man who wrote (edited) the Jefferson Bible. For those not familiar with it. It was essentially the New Testament trimmed down where anything remotely supernatural was removed.
So when we get into the entire Muslim/Non-Muslim debate, we must remember this is a Secular nation. As outlined in Article 6, and reaffirmed in the First Amendment.
