Would you have disputed the legitimacy of Hillary Clinton's presidency had she been elected?

I will admit freely that I didn't want Hillary elected. I was first surprised then grateful that she failed. When the results were known, I felt like a death row inmate who had received an last minute reprieve. However, had she won, I would never have even thought of demonstrating or rioting against her inauguration. I might have cried for my nation. Hell, I live in California and had to suffer countless election disappointments. One more wouldn't have broken me. Thus, you may be confident that I am not being hypocritical when I point my finger at those now lamenting Trump's inauguration, openly seeking to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power on Jan 20. Shame on them for bringing shame on America.

CPT Jack Durish roger that, I agree with you to caveat on the read. It's ludicrous that some think Trump presidency is not legit. SMH...

Now I agree and disagree with you. If Hillary was elected, would I dispute it's legitimacy, yes. Would you see me marching on Washington or protesting or rioting, no. I'm a bit more level headed than that. But I would seek out any form of evidence that the fix was in. There was a lot of shady stuff going on in this election, a lot of it dealing with the DNC. So if Hillary was elected, I would be suspicious.
That being said, the RNC is not blameless in this either. The difference being that the RNC was trying to sabotage Trump's campaign and not Hillary's.

You aren't disagreeing with. I am talking specifically about attempts to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power. Of course, every won has a right to disagree, to peacefully assemble and voice their opinion, to petition the government for redress of grievances. However, that's not what's going on here, is it? We have people preparing to riot. We have anonymous donors paying demonstrators to go to Washington to disrupt the inauguration. Not since Lincoln's first election have we seen anything like it and that led to Civil War. California is seriously discussing secession.

CPT Jack Durish - I honestly wasn't sure. The way I read it, it sounded like you were saying the people who are complaining should just get over it. But thank you for clarifying.

CPT Jack Durish, I would not lower my standards by demonstrating about which POTUS was elected. I've always sworn my allegiance to the current POTUS, and I would do the same had Hillary been elected. I don't like anything about her, but I would continue to support or POTUS. Thanks for the question.
