Would you support Rallypoint limiting the number of points one can get per day, as they do upvotes??

I think this is a simple and elegant way to prevent people from gaming the points system by spamming posts. The net effect of which is that there'd be a lot less clutter. Imo.

SN Greg Wright, other than I wish we had more than 75 up votes and that there were more controls over unverified profiles, I say let it be. I know there are many that simply wish to amass points, and I say let them. You can either try to have meaningful dialogue or you can reach for points. There are few that can do both well.

No reason to limit any more than what is already limited. If you don't like what someone posted, move on to something else. Just like any other social media site. RP should do a better job verifying accounts before we move on to this sort of stuff IMHO.

That's just it. I've unfollowed and un-contacted several of the worst offenders and their stuff keeps showing up in my feed. Next step is to block them, but I don't want to, really, they're good people, I just don't want their content.

You're being kind, the only regret I have is it prevents me from jumping in a few good discussions.

SN Greg Wright: I spend a lot of time, which I don't normally have, on Rally Point. I have received a lot of points; however, it is my love for my fellow Rally Pointers that keeps me voting others up, endorsing others, creating discussions, responding to special responses, etc. Thanks so very kindly for your question, SN Greg Wright. -Most Sincerely, Margaret C.
