LCDR (Join to see) - When were you at Riley? I was there in 08-09 for the Mitt mission. C and D co 1-5. Freakin Camp NOT-SO Funston.

Winter of '06...we set the range on fire (literally) with .50 cal and had our Camelbacks freeze it was so freaking cold LOL!

Burt Lancaster aka Top Sergeant Warden in "From Here To Eternity"....& Lancaster did serve in the Army in WWII but refused to discuss it... He was great in the scene when he broke up a bar fight and grabbed a beer bottle and broke off the top. Then he said to a Brig Warden (Ernest Borgnine) " C'mon Fatso , if it's blood you want C'mon & OK then Fatso I thought so and drop that knife"....

Lee Marvin was a Marine Pfc on Saipan and a Japanese Sniper shot him right in the rear end that he liked to joke about..
