Extreme cold. It's easier to get warm than it is to cool off.

I'll be the odd-man out, or oddball, depending on your POV; being from FL originally, I deal with the heat better than I do the cold even though I spent the majority of my time in service in cold/colder climates.

I'd go cold. current station is Fallon Nevada, High Desert. I'm TDY for 12 months to Bagram. I've had enough Heat. I'll do Tulle Greenland in a heart beat. I can dress up for the cold, can only go down so much for the heat.

Yes...I learned a very important lesson in cold climate areas like Germany, someone stole my gloves and mittens before I pulled guard duty and got frostbite and having my hands under my armpits didn't shine to well in many of the officers eyes. But being from the South I would have a 50/50 decision of hot or cold.

Cold as I can cover up and layers of clothing and Blankets etc etc. HOT would cause you all to go blind see me naked trying to stay cool.

I agree SSG Rushlo, as my wife would say "Oh no honey you cannot wear those shorts outside." Hell i won't even go to a swimming pool unless I can wear a T shirt, I am so pale. Heavy clothes hide the fat.
