Sounds like you are set if you are at 100% total.

SPC Paul Jennings, J.D. - FYI, there is no retired pay "offset" if you are rated 100% by the VA, they did away with that a few years ago. You get 100% of both payments.

CW4 Russ Hamilton (Ret) - if you are med boarded, there is an offset, including if you are med boarded with a final rating higher than your time in service calculation. If you just retire after your 20, than so long as you are 50% from the VA you get CRDP, which actually is a method of replacing your offset retirement income.

If you are in the Retired Reserves you fall under HRC FT Knox. Call them and ask this question 1-888-ARMYHRC ( [login to see] . That would be my advise for you.

It sounds like you were retired from the reserves or moved to the retired reserves after active duty. It's hard to tell. Either way, I'm assuming you're retired now. As such, your course of action is to appeal to the Board of Corrections for Military Records. Since I'm assuming no MEB was started, you'd have to prove why the Army should have started one and that evidence was present. Remember, the awarding of VA or SS disability does not prove that the army should have known while you were activated that a MEB was needed.
