I agree wholeheartedly, Cruz just needs to jump over the Drumpf wagon and take the nomination, unfortunately too many don't see the Trump for his true nature just wanting to vent their frustration that the solution (Cruz) isn't seen. I think Rubio will hold on for a brokered convention trying to take the nomination by establishment, possibly leading to a three party (Trump as independent) election. Hopefully the Sanders movement will create enough resentment to Clinton for Trump to take enough democratic votes from her. Rubio would be acceptable, but Cruz gets my vote until the Republican primary is finalized.

He may not have the "broad brush strokes", as you state, but he knows enough to surround himself with talented/experienced people, and knows enough to take their advice. This contrary to the current person and/or others running.

CSM William DeWolf - Reagan did that and was one of our best presidents ever. I remember that election well. The GOP establishment was so anti-Reagan they kept throwing money at his opponents such as Bush Sr. What Reagan had was a vision that people could hang on to. Personally I am not so sure I can hang on to Trumps vision beyond "Making America Great Again." I want to see more meat on his policy proposals.
