The U.S. Coast Guard has stopped at sea more than 3,000 Cuban migrants fleeing deteriorating economic, safety and political conditions in the island nation who were heading to the coast of Florida since October — more than the last five fiscal years combined, according to the agency.
The staggering figure comes as the Coast Guard announced it returned 64 migrants to Cuba on Sunday after locating them in four separate boats off the Florida Keys in less than 48 hours.

Ironic, isn’t it that we can stop Cubans in the ocean and return them to Cuba, yet let them freely cross our southern border.

They don't want to let Cubans in, they tend to vote Republican once they get citizenship.

I would think they would since the other direction is the socialism, they are running from.

The "Wet Foot, Dry Foot" portion of our Immigration policy has never made any sense, but it is especially hi-lited in this day and age when the current Administration acts as if there is no such thing as a National Border to our South with Mexico (but only here in the US, though, as they do recognize all the other Country's borders in entirety).
