Never was much of a fan of the whole call out thing. The over the top fakes are likely mental in some fashion and the lesser cases are likely to be legit. I suppose she thought she was right but the whole making a scene let alone the actual assault definitely put her over the line. Glad it seems to be being addressed though. Good share.

I agree. I recall when i was on active duty in B Troop 2/17 Cav in the 101st back in 1983, we had an older Veteran arrive in our unit, a Sgt Flores (he left the service after returning back from Vietnam and re-enlisted), and he was wearing a 1st Cav combat patch with the Airborne tab, as well as the CIB, Viet Airborne wings, Jump master wings, Pathfinder badge, Ranger tab, and a scuba badge and immediately one of our squad leaders who had just came from Germany started running his mouth about this new Sergeant being a phony. Turns out he was authorized all the above including the Silver Star, multiple Bronze Stars (one with a V device), PH, AM, and multiple other decorations and awards. Sometimes we make ourselves look like fools when we jump to conclusions.
