The only thing I regret about getting my CIB is that after desert storm the rest of my career I didn't get a chance to get my eib. Everytime eib qualifications came around everybody who had thier CIB was tasked to be a grader for the eib felt proud of that but still would have loved to get my eib. I know it sounds strange

I understand what you mean. There are many out there like you. No disrespect to you or your CIB, but I hated when the CIB guys who didn't have their EIB was graders. Getting shot at or returning fire absolutely has no bearing on if you can employ an M18 Claymore mine. Or any of the events associated with the EIB.

SFC Harry H. I know and don't worry I am not offended I knew everything for the qualification but all my 1Sgts would say we need you as a grader in hindsight I should have spoke up but you know the drill in a infantry line co when the 1SGT said do something you did it
