They are not forgotten. At least not in this house, or wherever I go when I wear this hat!

SFC Anthony Bennett - Actually, I don't have a MAGA hat. What I said has nothing to do with President Trump, who I'm sure it hurts your hemorrhoids to the nth degree to face it, but he's YOUR President, too. It amazes me to no end how you liberal D-BAGS invent bullsnot to fit your narrative.

The failure at Benghazi and the deaths of those Americans lie wholly at the feet of King Barry I and one Hildabeast Klintoon.

Y'all come back now, ya heah!

SFC Anthony Bennett - First off, I'd like to remind you that this particular "thread" is about the Benghazi debacle. It has everything to do with King Barry I and his criminal SOS, H. Klintoon, and nothing to do with President Trump, and it's extremely rude of you to litter it with senseless gibberish.

Second, you have the worst case of Trump Derangement Syndrome I've encountered to date. I'd suggest you call one of the suicide hotlines ASAP before you hurt yourself, or someone else if you miss.

ps, if you're really a vet, you can seek help at your nearest VA medical facility.
pps, so that in the future you'll know the difference, I've enclosed a picture of a younger Trump with some real racists. You're welcome.

PO2 David Dunlap - It's not likely to stop during my lifetime, or even planet earth's lifetime, but sadly, there are many who quite simply make their living off of pushing racism. You mentioned a few of them.

I agree. It's a "slap" to all Veterans as well as the Families. It's tiring to listen to "Thanks for your Service" but no clear recognition and address the unresolved Military issues. Actions are more appreciated than lip service!

This is another of a long line of blundering that our government officials have led us into. Our young men and women in the military and other organizations are continually putting themselves in harms way at the behest of politicians who just don't care. All they can think about is staying in office and gaining more power. When I say politicians I mean both Republicans and Democrats. Neither side is doing what they are supposed to be doing.

We veterans know why they spread a lie, because the commander in chief is a liar.

And what about all of the other terrorist attacks before this one? What about 9-11? THOSE attacks received a thorough investigation, and then reports on how to improve our readiness. They did not receive ELEVEN ADDITIONAL INVESTIGATIONS AND A FOUR-YEAR SMEAR CAMPAIGN designed to do nothing other than undermine a candidate (Sec. Clinton) that the GOP knew would win without the serious smear.

That ALL TWELVE investigations found no wrongdoing is besides the point, conservatives just hate HRC so much that they still cling to farce of partisan bullshit. The politicization of and outright lies about Benghazi are even worse than the (also thoroughly debunked) "Swift Boat Veterans for Truth" group that smeared John Kerry's candidacy with lies right before the 2004 election.

The "eye rolls" Benghazi gets from the part of country that doesn't watch Fox News are very well earned here.

That would be partisan bullshit similar to Russian collusion? I understand your point of view exactly.

We’ve had exactly ONE investigation into collusion, ordered by a Republican assistant AG, led by a Republican special prosecutor that thus far has 1/5th as long as the one investigation into Bill Clinton.

I’d call that things working as they should.

I’d also call anyone NOT concerned with a hostile power interfering in our democratic process either an idiot or so completely obsessed with furthering an extreme right-wing agenda as to be willfully ignorant.

I don’t know where Muellir’s investigation will go, but I’m pretty sure it won’t go to 11 SUBSEQUENT investigations all aimed at harming a specific candidate, even one has thoroughly unqualified and unsuitable for remaining in office as Trump.

You are right to lay the blame at the feet of Clinton, Obama and the State Department. First they did not ensure the security of the Ambassador and the people in his charge. Second when they became aware of the attack they sat on their hands trying to decide what uniforms were to be worn enabling the rioters to Murder the Ambassador and those n his charge. Thirdly when the caskets of these hero’s were returned to the US Clinton, Obama and his administration lied about the reason for the attack blaming it on a video. To try to bolster this lie they had the maker of the video jailed.

The Benghazi mess, And a only one good point that can be understood Cy
clearly by military men and women, in my opinion, and that is simply that the idea that we will NEVER leave anyone behind is a blatant lie! Every effort, available at that time should have been put into action immediately in order to so gain and support that promise! Further, How many service men have died in captivity because of political failure, compromise, or downright obstruction in our government? That question has never been adequately answered or explained to those who desire answers? How long must those of us veterans wait for those straight clear a swers, regardless of where the information leads? Until such time as these questions are dealt with honestly and fully that military "slogan" mentioned above will always ring hollow!!

Is "The Forgotten" really an appropriate title or label when they are discussed ad nauseum whenever an abrupt subject change is needed from current political misbehavior?
