Hi RallyPoint!
Here's a video project we worked on over this summer in partnership with the VA. The RallyPoint team looked at millions of your posts and found a sample of the most fun and engaging content you've created and organized them into this pilot.
Let us know what you think in the comments and what other kinds of things you'd like to see going forward.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kwwxvUR6P4&feature=youtu.be
Here are the five discussions we pulled out if you would like to engage with them:
1) What is the e-4 mafia?
https://rly.pt/E4mafia
2) What do you think about the wear of organizational headgear such as colored berets? https://rly.pt/headgear
3) As a Vietnam Era veteran, I'm trying hard to understand why I should accept the same honors as a vet who actually served over there?
https://rly.pt/VietnamEra
4) When are appropriate times to wear mini medals/ribbons?
https://rly.pt/miniribbons
5) Survivors Together - Memorial Day Q&A with Community Partners answering questions about benefits: https://rly.pt/SurvivorsTogether

Well done on the video. Good information and marketing tool. I think the format is right on the mark.

I love that headgear question. It has always totally confused me when I saw an Army person in yet another color of beret. Good video SSG Carlos Madden

To answer your question, for your next 5-in-5, I'm thinking it would be good to have branch specific content. As an Army vet, I'd be pretty interested to see what's most commonly discussed among the soldiers both today and the evergreen topics over time, but also curious about the same for our other services.

I'll share the youtube link. Doing a share from here means whomever wants to watch it has to sign in. That's what kept Me from joining for over a year. If there were timed guest slots, that issue wouldn't be a problem.

I think as being a Vietnam veteran no if you did not serve in the country of Vietnam you should not get any type of medals,i’ll Tell you why after I got of a army hospital I was told I would not be going back I served nine months in county I had to go to Tokyo for six months never get a dam medal for serving in Vietnam I figured my name just got lost in the military. Mind you I am not bitter just bummed.
