Other than promoting your "Book", are there any effort's currently being focused on such as VA healthcare, Military suicide/PTSD, military retirement issues ? I've noticed both fronts as being a back burner item in the eye's of our politicians, and just to point out a case in particular.
A 11 year old boy coming home from school in Houston, Tx fatally stabbed 20 time's by a fellow veteran returning from the current conflict and deeply suffering from "PTSD" is in custody for this crime ? What fund's are being allocated to assist in treating our brother's and sister's in arm's who are deeply afflicted ?
As a Vietnam era forgotten vet, it's time we as a nation and "Political Dysfunctional Group" attend to our current military force of young men, and women returning from abroad !

What is your take on the potential of doing away with the current "Naturalization procedures", for immigrants ie: not having to go through the established method's in place to obtain "American Citizenship status ?
I'm a naturalized citizen who went through these procedures and i't appears we're looking at a blanket system to openly naturalize all immigrants without going through what I, as many other's in past year's had to comply with by law ?
Additionally it is rumored that if this is to become the new way of business, they will also receive ( SSA, Medicare benifit's, etc freely)

When will congress really have a budget they can afford ? 600 billion defense budget for what ? If they is a war ( which there is no matter if it is declared or not) Congress just funds it with Contingency Funding ? What are we getting for the 600 Billion if not to be used for defending the country ? Congress needs to CUT, CAP and CANCEL Government Programs ( including some Military).

Why is something not done about the Federal Employee Union? This group is a blatant, in your face use of fraud, waste and abuse as well as unbridled racism and favoritism on every post and base.

Why has the Air Force gotten away with such a horrible separation policy change? They completely screwed my wife over after 15 years of perfect service.

As what might be characterized as a Colin Powell Republican, I cannot discern a dime's worth of difference between the Tea Party Agenda and core values from Donald Trump, with the exception that Trump doesn't need Grover Norquist to thinks for him. From everything I have heard from you in your recent media blitz flogging your memoir, there doesn't seem to be room to slip a knife blade between your world view and Grover Norquist's ambitions.

Given that the last 35 years have revealed Reaganomics for the total and complete fraud responsible for the sense of unease behind Trump's insurgency, what possible rationale can you advance in support of anything to do with your personal ambitions and political agenda other than the fact it is congenitally opposed to all things Clinton?

Why do Republicans habitually vote down any mention of increased funding for veterans, in particular legislation proposed by John McCain and Bernie Sanders? Why do you continue not to do your job in voting on a Supreme Court nominee? Lastly, what is the GOP going to do to prevent something like a Trump candidacy from happening again?

There is a rumor going around that BAH will begin to be treated like OHA (Where there is a "if you don't use it, you lose it," with regards to the housing allowance. Is this true? If it is I would request that you don't support this measure. Here are the reasons:

While, in theory, it may save the government money in practice it leads to predatory pricing by landlords and reduces the incentive for service members, who want to buy a home, to purchase a home they can truly afford. While serving in Korea my family and I lived off base. The realtors we worked with all knew how much OHA we would received and magically the rent for any property we looked at was magically the same rate. This was true for everyone else I met while stationed there. To add insult to injury, it was not uncommon to find service members in the same apartment complexes (with identical floor plans) paying vastly different amounts for rent purely based on their pay grade.

Additionally, the ability of home station finance offices to track each service members' mortgage or rent and pay them accordingly is questionable. It just adds another level of bureaucratic nonsense which takes away from the real focus of the military, to support and defend the Constitution of the United States.
