What can we do to get more Active Duty to vote? Seems to me when I was in, we got in formation twice daily and if anything was really important, we were told about it or we were marched somewhere to do something (like immunizations for example) Why doesn't the military think its important enough to march soldiers, sailors and airmen directly to a voting booth on election day? If they decline to fill out a ballot then so be it but at least he was given every available opportunity. Rarely in the civilian world do you get to vote for your own boss so take advantage of it! I'll almost bet that everyone gets their tax forms force-fed to them. Why not a ballot? They should make voting worth points or at least have competitions to see what post/brigade/battalion/company votes the most (percentage wise).

SGT Donnie Goodson
I haven't been enlisted for 23 years. I have no access to VAO's. I'm just curious if information is even discussed at the Unit Level that "hey, folks. It's Oct. 1st. If you want to vote for your next Commander in Chief, you must see the Lt. today to ensure you are registered in your state and ballots are requested." and/or "hey, folks. Its Nov. 1st. Your ballots have to be sent in 5 days for your vote to be counted." Most of these kids are straight out of high school, are not registered and have never voted and I doubt very seriously that the importance is impressed upon any of them with the same vigor as, say, needing to shave. It only comes around every two years and the precentages are pitiful. Less than 25% even request a ballot and only about 15% of the military casts a vote that actually gets counted due to not filling it out, not filling it out on time and/or not filling it out correctly.
At the Federal level, questions for Mr. McConnell (et al) would be, "how can we make it just as easy for troops to vote as it is for Donnie Goodson?" All I have to do is walk down to the same old polling place any time on Nov 8th and check off a few boxes. 15 minutes and I'm done.

Are we going to be a country of interventionalists or isolationists? From my perspective, it seems that we can do neither very well right now. Either rally up to fortify and defend the homeland or spread the hell out and fight to win. Personally, I think we can be good at either one if we really wanted to.

Why aren't the Republican party leaders rallying around Trump? If you on Capital Hill don't like all his policies isn't he a better choice than HRC?

What will be done about the VA. and all the non action that is happening now. Or will the VA be ignored.

When will you all start to hold people accountable for their actions (or inactions?), other than a dog and pony show from the Oversight Committee, I have yet to see anything actually happen to the clowns that are running these organizations. IE; IRS, VA leadership..etc., why is it impossible to fire a Government Civilian?

Fed up conservatives voted so called conservatives to stop Obama. They did not, and you helped them. Are you affraid of Obama, or really in favor of Obama?

6) The appeasement of the thankless mass (both in the US and the world abroad). Why does this even continue to happen?

5) Why can Congress not agree and set it straight who the enemy is within the Middle East and let the military do what it is intended to do? This is pretty much like being in school and told to write a term paper on a topic that is handed to you but you can't use any resources or references except the one(s) you are given

3) Why is it that a LARGE chunk of politicians in DC continue to have a pissing contest to see who is more right and better than the other while pretty much ignoring the people that put you there?
