America now faces a momentous decision. Almost a decade of irresponsible defense cuts has slashed the number of combat personnel, seriously degraded their combat readiness, and shrunk the size of our military below any reasonable standard. If America continues to lead from behind, we will lose the ability to guarantee our safety at home and abroad.
Our all-volunteer force deserves better. They deserve a leader who will provide them with the finest weapons systems and the best training. They deserve the full and unapologetic support of their Commander-in-Chief, not a minimal commitment and overly restrictive Rules of Engagement.
Furthermore, Americans make up the finest military professionals and veterans in the world, and they deserve an investment in their careers, their health, and their families. We must honor of our military members, families, and veterans by ensuring they receive the respect and care they have earned.
Under focused, new leadership, America can, and will, rebuild our military and take care of our veterans.

First you might want to update the AFSC list - it's about 20 years out-of-date.
My question is: how does Senator Cruz plan to helps the retirees and vets with disability compensation who have not received the COLA but HAVE received increased costs through Tricare for prescriptions, deductibles, etc.?

I noticed that you reject the idea of Selective Service registration for women based upon the idea that "putting them [our daughters] in a foxhole with a 220lb psychopath trying to kill them" is nuts. Are you aware that modern warfare involves very little foxholes and hand-to-hand combat? Do you have any idea what American military women are actually capable of?

Why are Veterans having to pay back Involuntary Separation Pay with Veterans Administration Disability Pay? What company gives out severance pay and then takes it back when they find out the same employee is eligible for Workmans Compensation? How is this a moral or ethic thing to do to our Soldiers?

Historically, Presidents have flip-flopped on Policy and even on their Political party just as soon as they became president. Right now, there are thousands of Trump followers that are getting worried because we're starting to see him do it. Hillary Clinton has been doing it for ages. So my question is: How do we know you won't follow suit and flip- flop on us? and Do you think it should be illegal to do so?

I don't know all the possible selectees. However, my choice would be someone who didn't receive a law degree from an Ivy League school, some judicial and legislative experience as well as someone who served in the military (possibly a former military judge). Whose past legal opinions and public statements demonstrate an even tempered approach to adjudication of laws and interpretation of the Constitution. Our Second Amendments right are secure now an will be secure regardless of who is chosen. Let the President exercise his Constitutional obligations and let the Senate show how dysfunctional are and how they will disrespect Justice Scalia's memory. The President, "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to... appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court," Article II, Section II US Constitution.
