I have been wanting to own a coffee shop for some time now as well as sell coffee online, any tips to get started?

Man, I could write a book on this. I think the single most important piece of knowledge I have, is my love for coffee and the desire to always learn more about the product.

How you considered partnering with other Small coffee companies like Death Wish which offer strong coffee that is organic and fair trade?

SFC (Join to see) - They are both relatively small, and there seems to be some discussion of BRCC expanding into retail outlets.

SFC (Join to see) Thanks for being here on RP to take questions. Congratulations on the business model and what your doing to give back to veterans. We've been connected for sometime here on RP. Would like to connect with you off line when you have the time about some great non-profit organizations that I'm a Board Member with. I'd like to see your level of interest in an Advisory or Board Member position. QUESTION: What was your most challenging moment or issue in starting up your business and how did you you overcome it? Being a former business owner myself I'm intersted in hearing others challenges, success, setbacks, etc. Thanks Evan!

Mikel, Thank you for the question. I cannot boil it down to just one moment. However, each problem presented in business is different. The most challenging aspect of BRCC has been managing both the business and family. Being a good father, husband and businessman can sometimes feel like you are being drawn and quartered.

SFC (Join to see) - I can definitely respect that - I've missed a lot of events through my military career and business career. The best advice we can both give to others is "Find that Balance!" You'll never get back those opportunities you missed with your family as time passes. Look forward to connecting with you more int he future - thanks Evan!

I also would be interested in knowing about franchise opportunities. I live in The Woodlands area north between Houston and Conroe Texas. Something like this would go over huge here.

SFC Evan Hafer, I have read and heard nothing but good things about Black Rifle Coffee. My family knows not to ask Dad to do anything till he's had his first cup of Joe. Love a hot strong cup of coffee right outta the rack in the morning. We are going to order some of your brew next week in fact. Always glad to see Veterans get ahead after separation. Kudos SFC Hafer! Where in Texas will you open shops? Blessings and continued luck.

SFC (Join to see) , since the media frenzy following your IG post, has the future plans for BRCC's expansion been sped up in any way or has the plan to open nation wide franchise always been targeting the end of this year?

We had to speed things up. Not a lot, but yes we had to make some adjustments to the timeline.
