The 3 Most Incredible US Sniper Shots

My personal favorite was 1 Shot, 6 Kill. 930m, he sighted a group of terrorists preparing to mount an assault. Firing, he hit on terrorist wearing a suicide vest RIGHT ON THE TRIGGER. The trigger detonated the vest, killing the 5 insurgents nearby.

Now THAT is what I call a happy ending.

My favorite has to be Carlos Hathcock (Whitefeather). He and a VC sniper were circling each other when Carlos put his back to the sun and noticed a light from the other snipers scope. He aimed in and the other sniper was aiming in at him. Carlos fired first and shot the other sniper right through his scope into his eye and head. If you do some research on him, he was a feared sniper in Vietnam with a $30,000 bounty on his head. He made some incredible shots, including killing a Vietnamese General from only 750 yds. out. He had to get close enough to their encampment which was heavily guarded to make the shot. Guards walked right by his head. His story is fascinating!

When I was 3/1, we had a Sniper with a confirmed kill (Spotter, and an Officer present) from Somalia (immediately prior to me joining the unit) with a SASR. Took out a guy through a cinder block wall.
