Why doesn't the VA let spouses get medicine through the VA like the Veteran does?
Thank you,

Beneficiaries who are CHAMPVA eligible and have no other health insurance with prescription coverage are provided VA pharmacy benefits through a local retail pharmacy or through VA's Meds by Mail program.
Will the VA develop electronic vaccination cards acknowledging Covid-19 vaccination?
I would also like to commend Jerry L Pettis VA Medical Facility in Loma Linda CA for their outstanding support to me, personally. They have been a God-send on so many different occasions , I can’t speak highly enough of the dedication. Hoooooah!!

Information on how to get your COVID-19 vaccine records online can be found at: https://www.va.gov/health-care/covid-19-vaccine/vaccine-record/. You can get a copy of your VA COVID-19 vaccine record through the My HealtheVet website or on your mobile device. You can also use your CDC vaccination card--or a photo of the card--as proof of vaccination. It is great to hear about the excellent service you received at the Loma Linda VA Medical Center.

My Supplemental Claim was filed six months ago and marked RFD five and a half months ago. We keep hearing how much the VA is committed to settling these claims on a timely manner, but all we receive is one promise after another that remains unfulfilled. What are your specific plans and tour specific timeline.
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
As of November 3, 2021, the average days to complete (ADC) a rating claim is 117.1 and the average days pending (ADP) for a rating claim is 143.9 days.
VA is committed to ensuring timely access to benefits and services for all Veterans and works claims beginning with the oldest cases first. To assist with processing claims VA is hiring and training 2,000 new employees to assist in claims processing, leveraging authority to transfer CARES funding to VBA and utilize the American Rescue Plan to fund overtime to ensure timely claims processing. VA is also deploying Fiscal Year 2022 budget resources for general Compensation and Pension claims processing.

LCDR Wayne Hansen,
I have been waiting for months to get imaging studies done. I recently went through a humiliating C&P exam and was denied an adjustment of my Service Connected Disabilities. Issues that need attention were flatly denied for consideration. I have had a single person to person visit in over three years.

HON Secretary McDonough, Thank you for advancing care for all that have served our great nation, My question is: How are you supporting the increasing number of veteran soles and their families to provide a structure supporting safety, access to care and a way forward to re-build their weakened current capabilities?
I had the privilege to work with a well developed civilian team in Homestead, Florida that created a safe and well managed atmosphere that resulted in in real personal responsibility and growth for their families This included; Medical Care, Dental Care, Counseling, Day Care and graduated housing.
Sadly it was closed due to budgetary issues, but with the right leadership and budget, this could greatly support our brothers and sisters. I would be honored to speak with you about this idea and share this vision. This facility has been visited by previous presidents and other political leaders. I am a solution provider with 36 years of service and former Director of Emergency Services (Hospital Setting).
Respectfully, LTC(R) Stewart Mason

Sir , as the generation of Vietnam Veterans marches to an end ,will you ensure to we aged vets , continued support for chemical irrrepair to our health ?
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
VA deeply appreciates our Vietnam Veterans who served in some of the most difficult conditions of any American war Veterans, to include exposure to Agent Orange. We encourage Veterans who are experiencing health issues that they associate with their service should see their primary care provider or local environmental health provider. Veterans may also file a claim for disability compensation. VA decides these claims on a case-by-case basis. Many Veterans Service Organizations can assist Veterans in filing claims. VA also has the Agent Orange Registry. If you are not yet a part of the Agent Orange Registry, please contact your local Environmental Health Coordinator at the website link to apply for the registry and a no-cost registry health examination: https://www.publichealth.va.gov/exposures/coordinators.asp

Why are you denying me access to all medical care in this Nation for receiving a medical condition to my nose (can't breath out of it!!) and why have you not responded to my emails? Why was Charis bible college removed from the VA list of Colleges? My benefits are being stepped on!
U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
As of the date of this response, Charis Bible College has eight programs approved for the GI Bill and VA education benefits continued to be paid for enrollment. VA was advised by the Colorado SAA of its suspension of two programs, however, upon review, VA advised the SAA to correct its administrative error. Currently, none of the school’s programs are suspended and currently enrolled students are receiving GI Bill benefits.
