Not if you read the article. Three year appointments which normally cross Presidencies.

SSG Edward Tilton - I ain't outraged. But I am not happy with this politically motivated attack on our military institution.
Psaki says it doesn't matter if you are Democrat or Republican - only that you toe the Democrat line. These are *technically* political appointees, but the serve in what is *supposed to be* apolitical positions. These people serve three year terms, which is *impossible* to line up with the Presidential cycle - they are supposed to cross Presidencies. And they have... until now.
Biden has every right to do this. That doesn't mean him doing it doesn't stink.

It is a 3 year appointment. When there 3 years are up out they go or they can be replaced. Yes, it is a political patronage job, but it is not totally at the whim and whimsy of the President. At least it wasn’t until now.
