First Amendment Defense Act would be 'devastating' for LGBTQ Americans

I see this as part of a grander strategy to undo the good work in this field. First, they'll appoint judges to rule their way. Next, they'll pass this law to cause lawsuit after lawsuit. Finally, they'll use their judges and these new lawsuits to return to previous rulings and have them undone.

Time to dig in and make sure we've got overlapping fields of fire, I think. This isn't going to be pretty.

Definitely a cause for concern. Far reaching and hard to fight once it's there. I hope Dems have plenty to talk about because we may need a long filibuster there.

I disagree. Not everything is intended to hurt the LGBT community. Besides if any establishment would refuse to provide a service to a member of the LGBT community based on the fac t that they are gay, lesbian etc, we make them face book famous. If think that for a small to medium sized business this would be very devistating. So let the pele. One with their money. It will be faster than a lawsuit and helps clean up the business community of these type of people.
