IAVA is the leading post-9/11 veteran empowerment organization (VEO) with the most diverse and rapidly growing membership in America. We don’t just support veterans, we empower them!
Celebrating, Empowering and Uniting Post-9/11 Veterans
IAVA provides valuable resources and empowers veterans to connect with one another, fostering a strong and lasting community. Through education, advocacy and community building, we strive to create a country which honors and supports veterans of all generations.
We’ve got your back.
IAVA is the voice of the 2.8 million veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, raising awareness in the media, on Capitol Hill and among the general public.
We address critical issues facing new veterans and their families, including mental health injuries, a stretched VA system, inadequate health care for female veterans and GI Bill educational benefits.
Join us!
Membership is FREE and open to ALL veterans, family members and supporters. Join us today at iava.org/#join.

Speaking for myself, as Vietnam Veterans of America Life Member #000008, I salute them.
They have and will have different challenges from those that we face(d). At least they don't have a bunch of grumpy old men from a previous war sitting around and figuring out ways to keep them shut out of the system.
Or at least I really hope so.

It depends on the Area, Im more of a fan of Vet Orgs like Team Rubicon, Wings For Warriors, Veteran Alliance, Semper Fi Fund, and Operation Warrior Shield. We dont care to profit off veterans, our books will show more than 85% of money donated goes to Veterans, the rest is operational spending
