You gotta love the U.S. Navy. While I love/loved being a Soldier, and know boots on the ground are almost always needed to win decisively... But, I sleep well at night knowing 24/7 our Navy is on the job, forward deployed and ready to do whatever needs to be done. It makes me feel good, and it worries those who should be worried.

I do, in fact, love the US Navy. :) Seriously, though Colonel, Sailors take a lot of (mostly good-natured) flak from ground pounders because they don't understand the sheer amount of ass kicking we can deliver downrange. So it's good (just imo of course) when someone like you recognizes it.

SN Greg Wright: Just giving you some more of that good natured flak....did not join the Navy for two reasons....one (and paramount), cannot swim...two, no place to go to get away from it all. FYI, most of my funeral honors team are Navy and I have one Submariner (USS Pargo)....does he count as Navy?
