It absolutely does. You can't just give airplanes...there is Maintenance Training and a logistical trail, there is pilot training pipeline...can't just throw a brand new pilot in an F-16. These months are actually a conservative estimate!

I understand. My point is, aren't we in YEAR TWO of this conflict? Weren't F-16s part of the original discussion, way back when? Wasn't it just as complex then as it is now? US is slow walking F-16s, and can't just come out and say it's a NO-GO, because it's a NO-GO.
