I know TWO people that happened to in Grand Rapids. They were sent home before taking the test because clinic ran out of test kits. They were notified later they were positive. Also, A medical professional told me every time one person tests positive and has to retest, all the tests are counted as individual COVID cases. There’s more I heard from people about people being killed and it as labeled COVID. It’s a type of flu packaged as a plague, followed by organized protests, riots, and systematic hatred of Americans and American history, all chaos to try to derail the Trump Re-election this year.

Cynthia Croft I prefer to read my news vs having it read to me. If I want to deep dive into something I have a routine of Fox, cnn, NYT/WaPo, sometime NPR/Reuters and then hit up anything local to the story. I find that lets me cut through the spin and assemble the facts of the case.

And people wonder why we question the veracity of the scale of the pandemic. When someone lies to you, EVEN ONCE, it causes doubt. Do I think the pandemic is real, YES I think the pandemic is real. But I don't trust any numbers. Are they lying? Are they careless and inaccurate? How extensive is it? I don't know and that really pisses me off.

it isn't about believing the numbers, there is a standard rate of deviation to expect from any collection of numbers. As has been said before there can be errors in reporting because people didn't get tested and didn't have symptoms so the numbers stay low, same for the number of deaths, if they were not tested they would not have been counted.
Then there is the 2-3 week lag in time between getting the disease, being counted and the deaths that occur. You know it is serious when the ENTIRE medical community in every state is saying there is a problem, they are out of supplies, the hospitals are crowded and out of room.
Not to mention the morgues and funeral homes fill up and have to call in refrigerated trucks to handle all the extra dead. That is the clear sign it isn't all bullshit and maybe, just maybe the numbers are pretty damn close to the truth, more so than the naysayers and conspiracy theorists want to admit because it doesn't fit their narrative.

As I said... YES I think the pandemic is real. Pandemic has a meaning. I'm not claiming that it is a tempest in a teapot. BUT, There are undoubtedly deaths that are being counted a COVID deaths that are not.. If you don't want to hand people a reason to doubt your data, be accurate. Inaccurate and patently nonsense Cause of death diagnoses, quite literally hand ammunition to those who doubt that there is a pandemic.
