My wife suffered pulmonary edema followed by 2 strokes, 8 months apart. 2nd stroke took her out. TriCare, and eventually Medicare - once her disability was approved -- 9 hospitalizations, 11 ambulance rides, home care, electric hospital bed, oxygen equipment, etc, etc -- when the dust settled, paid all but $600 for ambulance service.

And................................?

My wife passed away 3 years ago from cancer.

We all make choices and we have to live with them.

I'm sorry for your loss MSG (Join to see). I lost my wife 20 years ago this Christmas due to colon cancer complications. She was too young.

SFC William Farrell -
Thank you.
I feel for your loss.
I was married for 30 years. My wife was a pack a day smoker. I tried many times over the years to get her to stop. By the time we discovered she had lung cancer, she was already stage 4 and it had spread into different organs and bones. She died 7 months after the diagnosis.
