These institutions had many tears and most of the hospitals are in decay. I spent two stays last year. Voluntarily/Unvoluntary and held for a few days. Once HHH/Mental ward and one at the VA's 9th floor (mental wards). Depression and a conversion Diorder. I had periods of Pyschosis, Hallucinations after hitting my head on one of those hard and heavy chairs. I suffered a Subdural Hematoma. In essence, a brain bleed. I was in the medical ICU and then back to the 9th floor. As far as treatment, I am calling out the VA. Afterall, 3 classes in 10 days. What therapy? I have an Emotional Support Animal that was confirmed because of Suicidal Ideation. At 9 years old, I jumped off a shed, thinking I might as well. (Suicidal Attempt) at 9 years old. Was in a coma for two weeks. This correlated to sexual assaults. In acamper at 14, I punched out a window in our camper. So I dissociate to cope with the abuses. You try to get help and the VA pays lip-service to real treatment. I had two pyschotic breaks breaks while in the Air Force. My dreams are terrifying. Lots of blood sometimes, but that is for another time.
The old hospitals were warehouses for people with Epilepsy, B-Polar and a litany of other maladies. There they got Lithium, Electro Shock, insulin Therapy(induced coma) and put in a small dark cell. They had restraints somedays for days at a time. Five and four-point leather straps, face-down. Back in the day, they had Lobotomies and so forth..
Go onto Pinterest and see vestiges of those kinds of mistreatments.

Obviously the recruiter didn’t do a sufficient of prescreening. But that’s not their job.. Maybe more psych techs would try a couple years of recruiter time, to better pre-eval recruits. I know I’m going out of bounds here. I’m not a p.c. Type person. SJWs would have a field day tearing me apart. I would like to say I’m sorry about you going through all that trauma and you could erase that what you went through.. There are many institutions now closed.. Michigan has transformed a few. The SJWs want to tear them down .. but will it erase the memory.? Only to those that never knew they were there.. There was once a Maybury institution, it’s gone and a park in it ‘s place with a plaque. The SJWs want any mention of the institute gone...they forget that by hiding and not mentioning
