This is welcome news, though I suspect there are a lot more that are going to get away with pushing these highly addictive drugs.
Under the leadership of this executive the company bribed doctors to prescribe their powerful opiate, originally intended for those in excruciating pain from cancer to many patients that did not need it.
Meanwhile the company donated $500,000 to a campaign to defeat a ballot measure that would have legalized Marijuana in Arizona.

When I was working on my MBA, we did a study on the Pharmaceutical industry. It is the most corrupt business in the world.
This company in the article is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to really be amazed look at Perdue Pharmaceuticals (yes of the chicken fame, same family).

I had my leg amputated they tried to get me to take it after 45 days I was off all pain meds with the exception of Tylenol or motrin
