"if anyone is seriously harmed"....I wish they'd go after people for doing this with or without people being harmed. If there's harm to someone, the punishment definitely should be tougher, but simply making the (false) call should be a crime and result in some form of punishment.

MSG Stan Hutchison - I suppose local might be most appropriate, but what if the person making the call was in another state when they made the call? If someone in CO swats someone in TX, is it a CO jurisdiction, a TX jurisdiction, or is it now a federal issue?
