What a great story this is. There would have surely been more deaths had this Army marathon runner not helped the victims.
WASHINGTON (Army News Service) -- Lt. Col. David P. Diamond, who provided aid to victims and assistance to Boston Police in the immediate aftermath of the April 15, 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, has been awarded the Soldiers Medal for his actions that day.

Working and living in Boston, this is the first that I have heard of this. Thanks for sharing.

CSM William DeWolf, You would think a lot of press and news stations would have picked up on this. Maybe McCain put him in for the medal and didn't want any news released until it was a done deal. What a great time for him to have been there and take charge of the situation.
