This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening
across central North Carolina. Locally heavy rain due to the very
slow movement of the storms may result in pockets of flash flooding.
Wind gusts to 45 to 50 mph, small hail, and frequent lightning will
also be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected to persist each day through
Tuesday, mainly during the afternoon and evening hours. Locally
heavy rain, isolated damaging wind gusts, and frequent lightning
will be the primary hazards with the strongest storms.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Please send us any reports of wind damage, hail, or flooding
through the period.

"Scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening across central North Carolina. Heavy rainfall through next Thursday "heavy rain, isolated damaging wind gusts, and frequent lightning will be the primary hazards with the strongest storms."
