I have lived off-post but am considering moving on-post. Help! What are the benefits and disadvantages of each ?

One huge benefit of living off post is that your neighbors aren't all up in your business. If my wife and I come home at 3AM Saturday morning because we were out late Friday night, no one cares.

It is closer to work and the on post neighborhood is usually a tight community.

It's safer and cleaner living on post. Your neighbors are peers and have a lot in common.
