In the real world, Trump has traveled to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware exactly four times ― fewer than half as many times as his vice president ― and avoided going at all for nearly two years after getting berated for his incompetence by the father of a slain Navy SEAL, according to a former White House aide who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Bill Owens, the father of William “Ryan” Owens, refused to shake Trump’s hand at that Feb. 1, 2017, encounter, the aide said, and then told Trump that he was responsible for his son’s death for approving the disastrous raid in Yemen without bothering to understand the risks.
“He refused to go back for two years, he was so rattled,” the aide said, adding that the main reason Trump had approved the raid just five days after taking office was that predecessor Barack Obama had refused to do so.

1) I give no credibility to Huffpost. It is a far left wing media who has been known to file reports without checking the facts
"Overall, we rate HuffPost Left-Biased based on story selection and editorial positions that favor the left. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to failed fact checks and the promotion of pseudoscience."

2) The story cites "a former white house aide who requests anonymity". There is no way to tell if this person even exists much less was in a position to be aware of Trump's schedule
3) It interviews people who have no connection to the WH and would not have first hand knowledge of Trump's visits

You are starting to get the hang of it. Kudos. I stopped citing huffpost because of that as well. I do the same for Right bias media sites with mixed or lower ratings.

From personal experience. The parents, especially fathers, of dead services members can act like real d|cks. But we really need to cut them some slack cause they really are mourning. And when you throw political bias they can get even more belligerent. When the CINC takes the time to go see our fallen service members it means a lot. He has a full plate that taking the trip is an honor in itself. I would hope that my family members wouldn’t act like that and would understand that is what I signed up for.

I agree. There are a few cases where parents have made it political by denouncing Trump while embracing Democrat leaders

It's difficult to vote "up" a story like this - but this is the sort of journalism that is required if "the whole story" is to be told. If this isn't true, it is fake news. Otherwise...
