1) I give no credibility to Huffpost. It is a far left wing media who has been known to file reports without checking the facts
"Overall, we rate HuffPost Left-Biased based on story selection and editorial positions that favor the left. We also rate them Mixed for factual reporting due to failed fact checks and the promotion of pseudoscience."

2) The story cites "a former white house aide who requests anonymity". There is no way to tell if this person even exists much less was in a position to be aware of Trump's schedule
3) It interviews people who have no connection to the WH and would not have first hand knowledge of Trump's visits

You are starting to get the hang of it. Kudos. I stopped citing huffpost because of that as well. I do the same for Right bias media sites with mixed or lower ratings.

From personal experience. The parents, especially fathers, of dead services members can act like real d|cks. But we really need to cut them some slack cause they really are mourning. And when you throw political bias they can get even more belligerent. When the CINC takes the time to go see our fallen service members it means a lot. He has a full plate that taking the trip is an honor in itself. I would hope that my family members wouldn’t act like that and would understand that is what I signed up for.

I agree. There are a few cases where parents have made it political by denouncing Trump while embracing Democrat leaders

It's difficult to vote "up" a story like this - but this is the sort of journalism that is required if "the whole story" is to be told. If this isn't true, it is fake news. Otherwise...
