That’s jarring - I was at the original commissioning ceremony in Baltimore in 2007. I hadn’t realized she’d been decommissioned.

CW4 Guy Butler One of the Questions/Jokes from My Time During the Cold War. Who Has More Aircraft the Air Force or the Navy. At the Time the Navy Did. Surprise, Surprise. Who had More Waterborne Vessels the Navy or the Army? the Army Actually Did. The Ownership and Some of the Operational Control of Tugs, "Donuts" (Bilge Collectors) Barges (To Include a Living Barge where I Resided for Several Months) They Were Army.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel When I was with the 359th Trans Battalion, I had 8 “Mike boat” landing craft, 2 small tugs, a large tug, the LSV, a barge-Derrick, 2 cargo barges, and the floating bomb fuel barge on the books. Also a LCU-2000 for crew certification and a handful of “pier queens”...
