What unit is UIC WAJ501 at Fort Carson? Where might a 68P (Radiology Specialist) go in 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th ID?

I'm supposed to PCS to Fort Carson in OCT/NOV timeframe. However, as an 68P I'm not really sure where I would be placed? I've only ever been at a hospital before, so I'm not sure what to expect.

Sounds like you’re going to a Combat Support Hospital, or Field Hospital… Same difference. There are pros and cons when you compare working at a Hospital vs. Field Unit. But I will say, if you plan on staying in, your knowledge and leadership skills are more likely to advance with a field unit. Possibly more military training opportunities, especially if you show motivation towards things such as air assault or other training opportunities. Best of Luck.
