PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I have been to Fairbanks, there aren't that many bars in that little town. I guess its better for the soldiers to go to the local strip joint???

CPT Gregory Hafera - Yeah, back in my younger days, I may or may not, have visited one or two. I am pretty sure your assessment is correct!

There are only Two strip joints if Fairbanks. One doesn't serve alcohol, just energy drinks and has a giant bear looking dog casing the joint. The Second does serve alcohol but the things that get on stage are a travesty. They have banned Soldiers from drinking in the barracks and now they've closed two of the best, pretty much only clubs that were available to Service Members. Let's see what happens with the suicide rate. DUI rate should either be the same as when they banned drinking in the barracks or get higher.

Let them drink in the barracks was what I said. No DUIs, teammates are there, and if they F it up then they fix it up afterwards.

Back in 1981 we used to go to a place called the Mecca on second street. The bartender was named Margaret and she treated us wonderful. So if you can’t drink in the Barricks do they still give out ammunition if you go to war
