CPO Andrew Gardiner - I guess what I am saying is as A veteran their is more freedom than when I was active. enlisted and officers did not hang out together could not sit at the same table to eat ues the same bathroom's ECT. my dates of service was 1981 to 1987 my uniform was BDU'S. the active duty uniform of today's active service is the OCP uniform in order for me to ware it the GENERAL told me I had to remove US. ARMY NAME TAPE and replace it with Y.D.V.A. TAPE and on our dress uniform we have to remove the US INSIGNIA and replace them with our Y.D.V.A. INSIGNIA. when I asked why i was told because we are not active service anymore. AND AGAIN CONGRAT'S ON YOUR PROMOTION
