The joint statement by a group of federal, state and industry election officials was released Thursday evening by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security.
“There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised,” the officials noted in a sentence that was highlighted in bold lettering for emphasis. It came just hours after Trump tweeted an all-caps claim that a voting company had deleted and switched votes that had been intended for him — a debunked conspiracy theory that has been making the rounds on right-wing media.

Colorado went to Real IDs while they were a Red State. FL is a Real ID state as we found out getting our licenses a nearly 2 years ago here. Also a Red State. Have no idea about the other states as we spent 19 years in Colorado until health issues forced us to relocate. Real ID is not that old.
I agree on verification. There is also http://ID.me - though it can be scammed as well. If it is on a computer, it can be scammed. Though ID.Me is tougher to scam than most ID Servers out there. Hell, we put a ton of health and financial apps on our Androids/iPhones and never have to show ID to do so.

"That's not true..." What is the news? Obviously, from this reporter's point of view, it isn't the answer you don't like. But, what the hell, you're the one holding the microphone and you can step away and call a citizen a liar. Maybe we need to license microphones the way they want to license guns. Indeed, I think you can do more damage with a microphone than a gun
