One of the great Calvary Chapel pastors, Mike Macintosh, whom I listened to on Christian radio for years before we met and became good buddies. This photo is from the day that Mike retired as Pastor, passing the torch to his son Phillip.

I once was very good friends with the Pastor of my Church. He had a wife and beautiful twin daughters. He was a continuation of Pastors in his family. One day he divorced his wife and walked away from his daughters and family and moved in with his gay boyfriend. It totally shocked everyone. He and his boyfriend both ended up dying from HIV/AIDS within a few short years.

I have been personal friends with four pastors, all straight up men of God and wonderful family men. I enjoy their company and conversation.
The actions of a man such as the one you mention can destroy a church and drive people from the faith. To be sure there is a special accounting for errant preachers by Christ who will judge them.
I hope you had a blessed day in church and enjoy a quiet evening tonight.
