We moved to this base in 1972, I left at the end of 1975. The base is gone now. What do you remember?

Back in the day.

Most everyone on the base, drank, smoked and blackmarketed what ever they could the ranlk or position did not matter. It was a mess.

Advice for those moving here

The base is gone and the people. Visited there in 1989, the base was active. Later the unit moved to Kunsan. The base was demolished and now their is hig rise buildings where the bas once stood. Best thing they ever did with this base was to close it down and give it back to Korea.
