I recently lost my father unexpectedly on December 26, 2023 due to health issues. My father was a PROUD Army veteran who served in Vietnam. I am trying to find grief counseling for military caregivers. This has been hard to process and I am having a hard time moving forward. Also, I want to make sure I'm aware of all possible benefits to surviving children.

Please contact the Military and Veteran Caregiver Network. https://www.redcross.org/get-help/military-families/services-for-veterans/military-veteran-caregiver-network.html
They have lots of information, they can connect you to groups for grief counseling and give you a mentor if you want one. All services are free.

No matter how long it takes, just lean on us, the community of veterans, to help. We sincerely care and no one understands loss more keenly than us.

In most cases the only cost is for the workbook.
