Hello everyone,
I have had recurring "Debt Payment" amounts shown on my LES'. To my knowledge, I do not owe anything. I have also reached out to DFAS to which I got no response. Would anyone happen to know where I can go to see if I do have a balance or if this is normal?

Down in the bottom area of your LES, there will be all kinds of things written there. Included in this area is what your debt is for and what the remaining balance (if any) of that debt is

And you may have to go back one or more LESes to find the explanation of the debt

SPC (Join to see) if you are looking at your LES online, you will have to click the "remarks" tab or pull up the pdf to see the comments that MSG (Join to see) is referencing.
A possibility is what SSG (Join to see) mentions, since you are a reservist sometimes your BA dates do not match when SGLV bills (or if you missed a BA) so you might get hit for two months on one pay period. That will show up as a "debt payment", but it should say that in the remarks section.
In all, SSG (Join to see) is correct, your UA or RPAC can tell you what the original debt is.

Is it roughly $31 or so? If so that is for your SGLV. I had the same issue a while back.

Having attempted to reach out to DFAS https://www.dfas.mil/ through their website and phone number ( [login to see] ), I was disappointed by their effectiveness. Are these contacts no longer valid? Fortunately, the internet provides a wealth of useful information that can replace traditional banking consultations. In particular, the https://casinosanalyzer.com/casino-deposit-methods website analyzer offers clear insights into the payment system, surprising me with its transparency. The question remains: why do online services prove to be more effective than traditional sources of consultation?

Have you talked with your UA, I would think they have a direct contact with DFAS or at least back in 2007 we did.
