About

The Emory Healthcare Veterans Program (EHVP) features an expert, interdisciplinary team that works together to help our veterans and service members reclaim their lives. We are united in healing those who serve and our mission is to transform lives by healing invisible wounds. As a proud member of the Warrior Care Network, we offer treatment at no cost to post-9/11 veterans and service members (regardless of discharge status, deployment history, or length of service) suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, depression, or conditions stemming from military sexual trauma (MST).

How We Heal Invisible Wounds

Whatever you’re going through, there are many others just like you. In fact, of the more than 2.6 million Americans deployed since 9/11, an estimated 1 in 3 return with either PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI) or other conditions brought on by things they saw and experienced during their service. As a veteran or service member, you deserve to have access to the care and services that can help you heal mentally and physically. We’re committed to doing our part to meet this need, and to providing the best possible care and support when you turn to us. We’ll treat you and your family with respect, dignity, and compassion, and help you reclaim your life.

We offer two treatment pathways: Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and traditional Outpatient Program (OP).

IOP is a two-week, full-time treatment plan designed to reduce symptoms of PTSD and TBI, promote health and wellbeing, and improve relationships and social functioning. We have served warriors from every state and the IOP is available for all eligible post-9/11 service members and veterans.

OP is offered for eligible post-9/11 warriors who live within Metro Atlanta and do not have the ability to participate in the two-week program. The length of treatment varies and the program requires multiple visits to our clinic in Atlanta.
