ABOUT US

There are approximately 3 million businesses that rely on Grainger for products like safety gloves, ladders, motors and janitorial supplies so they can successfully operate, maintain and repair their facilities.

We have a long and proud history as an industry leader. As a distributor, we don't make anything; our customers can buy what we offer from anywhere else. It’s our talented people and positive company culture that differentiate us in the marketplace.

THERE'S MORE TO WORK THAN WORK.
Grainger offers employees the stability of an established industry leader, along with the chance to learn, grow, advance and make a difference. We strive to be a place that people are attracted to. Sure, we have great benefits. But we like to think we go steps beyond to make sure our employees are happy on the job - and away from it, as well.

Your hard work and established leadership skills are appreciated here.

PEOPLE AND CULTURE

We hear it a lot...from customers, suppliers, nonprofit organizations, employees, even strangers: Grainger is a great company! We like to think that's because we treat people well – with respect, and with a human touch – both inside and outside the company. At the heart of it, we are in a relationship business. We know that by acting with integrity, working as a team, and doing more than what's expected of us, we will be able to be an even better company tomorrow.

From the top down, the key to business at Grainger is customer service. Each day in the stores, we have thousands of customers visit us with all kinds of questions. Our employees have to know the store layout, be familiar with products and services, and be able to offer assistance on a variety of projects. Employees in our distribution centers help the stores serve their customers. The corporate office ensures stores have the resources they need to uphold our high levels of customer service.
