I believe as long as you meet all state and Federal regulations you should be able to carry in uniform. If you are responsible enough to carry out of uniform what should stop you from carrying in uniform??

SSG V,

If you scroll through or post the subject in search engine, we have already done this question about 3 months back.

And my answer is still the same as it was then, Yes we should be able too. And this is coming from the SM that would be enforcing and having to deal with the idiots that would abuse the right.

If it all legal and kosher, Why Not. Now having said that when I was in it wasn't Kosher, Legal or Allowed. Every base I was on required you to surrender your weapon to the Armory and you could check it out for target practice or hunting but no personal firearms were allowed on base, usually by order of the Base Commander and the Naval District Commander.

For now and until any Policy is changed, as long as you specifically meet Federal regulations like not carrying on post or any federal buildings, why not? If your off post and you posses a CCW or CCP and it is actually concealed I would. There is no reason why not. Of course altering the uniform and carrying it on your hip may be against regulation. There should be nothing stopping you from carrying it in your pocket as long as it doesn't show a bulky appearance. A .380 is a perfect Pocket Pistol smaller then most Cell phones.
