The Senate passed the VA Mission Act on May 23rd after passage in the House on May 16th, this legislation will replace the Choice program, providing additional funds available to the Department of Veterans Affairs to fund community care programs, family caregiver programs, and provide prompt payments to non VA care givers.
SALRadio will discuss this at 2:45 with former House VA Committee Staff Attorney Rory Riley-Topping. Listen on at 2:45 today on WVOX 1460 AM New Rochelle, NY or WVOX.com

Apparently it's being replaced. With my limited experience with the choice program, I can't see an issue.

CPT Zachary Brooks - I talked to my acupuncturist; who said that the Choice Program is not being replaced in California; where I live.

In military contracting, I liked to watch and see which company was awarded the contract....in VA there could be some ah ha moments when you hope you are sitting in a group with CID and FBI agents. Fraud never helps any of us.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask; I put my NOD in for PTSD and now have new evidence via the VA hospital of seattle. It's been over a year with new evidence and my NOD is still in processing. I've heard that it takes 6 years to hear a yes or no. Even with damning new evidence I can't get this resolved maybe 3 or 4 years sooner? How big is this backlog?
